“Grass Roots Giving Initiative”

Program Mission

The Grass Roots Giving Initiative exists to serve and uplift our local community by providing discounted or fully sponsored landscape services to individuals and families facing hardship or deserving recognition.

A portion of every dollar earned by Gulf Coast Grass Guys is set aside into a dedicated Community Impact Fund that is reinvested directly back into the community through this program and other local outreach efforts.

How It Works

1. Nominate or Apply

Anyone can:

• Apply for themselves

• Nominate a neighbor, friend, family, or local hero

Nominations are based on:

• Financial hardship

• Health challenges

• Military or first responder on a TDY

• Single-parent households

• Elderly residents in need

• Individuals in recovery or rebuilding their life

• Families facing unexpected crisis

• Or simply someone who deserves to be blessed

2. Selection Process

Submissions are reviewed by a 4 member external Advisory Council and carefully considered.

Selected recipients may receive:

• A discounted service

• A fully sponsored lawn/landscape project

• Or placement into a priority assistance list

3. Community Impact Fund

A percentage of every dollar we earn goes directly into the Grass Roots Giving Community Impact Fund, which supports:

• Free & discounted landscape projects

• School supply sponsorships for local children

• Support for faith-based recovery programs like Celebrate Recovery

• Donations to vetted local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

• Beautification projects for families in need

• Palm trimming and storm prep
• Driveway & Sidewalk Cleaning
• Minor landscape restoration
• Pet Waste Removal
